1. The organization does not have to be nonprofit.
2. The organization is Trenton-based and has a plan.
3. The organization is small in terms of staffing and budget.
4. There will not be a requirement for onerous paperwork.
5. The organization has growth potential.
6. The organization can’t easily go somewhere else for this support.
7. The organization is local community referred and local community affirmed.
8. The gift would be transformational for the organization.
9. There should be a social return on this investment (i.e. it should have social impact).  
10. The request is not more than $10,000. Requests for loans will be carefully considered and granted only exceptionally
11. Organization leadership is BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). Exceptions will be carefully considered and granted only exceptionally if at all. 
12. We should seek information on how the organizations are doing post-investment as this will keep us connected to these organizations. Follow-up reports will not be required.
