New Years Eve Peace Vigil with multi faith sharing
Join us indoors for our annual peace vigil. There will be a brief introduction to Quaker ways and then silence. Various faith-leaders will speak on "Peace on earth" then everyone is invited to speak if led to do so. 5:15-5:45 - Sing-along followed by a meal to be shared.

Important note: you can arrive later than 4 pm. If the vigil is in progress please quietly seat yourself.
This year's annual New Year's Eve Peace Vigil by Trenton Meeting of Friends and co-sponsored by Coalition for Peace Action out of Princeton will proceed as follows. At 4 pm we will settle for silent introspection after a few words of explanation of Quaker silence in wait for the still small voice within. After about 15 mintes, representatives of mutliple faith groups will share brief remarks on the place or importance of Peace in their faith tradition. Following that we will return to Quaker silence and attendees who feel led to, are invited to share briefly from their personal and/or faith tradition.
