LOVE AS ACTION - Trenton

A Monthly AFSC inspired public worship, vigil and protest begins at the Meetinghouse

Acting on a call from American Friends Service Committee, Trenton Meeting is the location in New Jersey that is hosting one of the nationwide monthly Love as Action public gatherings, providing an opportunity for public witness to our concerns for the rise of authoratarianism and all the ways that that is playing out in today's America.

The initial gathering on January 17th was done without great cooperation from the weather!. Not all who wanted to come were able to make the trip because of difficult road conditions but it was a successful, meaningful witness. More than a dozen gathered with approximately equal numbers of Trenton Friends and other folks, mostly from the Princeton area. Princeton Meeting was instrumental in the event happening. It was Princeton Meeting Friends who introduced us to this AFSC initiative in a building relationship between Trenton and Princeton Meetings.
